Information for Visitors to the Chicago District Office

The River Center Building Management has implemented a Visitor Badge System.  In order to be granted access to the District office, you must present a photo ID, and have an appointment with the regulatory project manager you wish to meet with that day.  We will ensure that our building security is informed of your visit so your visitor badge (i.e., a proximity access card) will be ready upon your arrival.

Should you not be a pre-authorized visitor, you will be delayed at the River Center Building Visitor Badge Station until you get the required District authorization and your customized visitor badge access card is then made. If this is the case, please let the building security staff know that you are here to visit the "Regulatory Branch" and the name of the regulatory project manager, so that they know enough to advise our front office.

To insure a smooth visit, please call ahead to make an appointment with the Regulatory project manager you wish to see at least a few days before so that we can ensure your visit will go smoothly.  Please inform us of the names and companies of all the individuals who will be with you for your meeting.  Badges have to be made for each individual who comes to the district. Individuals may keep and reuse their visitor access cards, which would need to be reactivated for every future visit.

As information arises about these changes, we will continue to provide notification.  If you have any questions regarding this policy in conjunction with the Regulatory Program, please feel free to contact Leesa Beal at (312) 846-5540 or e-mail leesa.beal@usace.army.mil.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
